On Thursday, September 7, 2017, George D. Joslin , 75, of Oak Hill, WV passed away at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
Born November 2, 1941, he was the son of the late George and Blanche Joslin of New York.
George was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and a life-time member of the VFW Post 548, Morgantown, due to his VietNam deployment. He was a member of the Moose and was named a Distinguished West Virginian by Gov. Cecil Underwood.
His wife of 37 years, Mary K. Johnson Joslin and daughter, Shelly Lynn Forman preceded him in death.
Survivors include son, Scott L. Forman; daughter, Melinda Forman Eskew; brother, James; sister, Gail; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Friday September 15, 2017 at 11am at Lawnwood Cemetery with Pastor Jennifer Williams officiating. Military honors will be conducted by Westover VFW and the Marine Corps Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers it was George's request donations be made to Ruby Memorial Hospital C/O WVU Foundation P.O. Box 1650 Morgantown, WV 26507, in remembrance of his wife, Mary K. Joslin.
