George Amos

George Amos. 82, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill. Born September 24, 1929 at Cunard, WV, he was the son of the late George and Lilia Kincaid Amos. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Jean Totten Amos; and one brother, Odis Amos. Surviving are five children, Karen Sue Mochoruk, Chicago, Illinois, George Ed Amos of Oak Hill; Gary W. Amos of Chicago, Illinois, Randall B. Amos of Oak Hill and Lois Ann Amos of Fayetteville; one brother, Lowell Amos; two sisters, Flora Leek and Jeanette Stawychey; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A. M. Monday, April 2, 2012 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with Rev. Ralph Shupe officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.
