Gary Keith Skaggs

Gary Keith Skaggs, 69, of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at CAMC General in Charleston, WV.

Born August 7, 1955 in Ansted, WV he was the son of the late Delbert and Garnet Robertson Skaggs.

Gary was a proud United States Army Veteran. In his leisure time he enjoyed watching NASCAR and was an avid fan of WVU football

Along with his parents, he is also proceeded in death by his son Jonathan Skaggs; sister, Tara Skaggs; and brother Jerry Skaggs.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving daughters, Shawnea Alberston (Ryan) and Christina DeLung (Frankie); 5 grandchildren, Haden Alberston, Carson Alberston, Jacob DeLung, Joshua DeLung, and Raegan DeLung; 3 sisters Margie Gwinn; Dorothy Jones; and Patty Keenan; several nieces and nephews; caregiver and friend Terry Lyons.

Funeral service will be 3:00 PM on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill. In keeping with Gary’s wishes, he will be cremated following the service.

Visitation for friends will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home in Oak Hill on Wednesday August 14, 2024.
