Gary Allen "Sherlock" Holmes

Gary Allen "Sherlock" Holmes , 58, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at his home. Born November 19, 1954 at Gauley Bridge, WV he was the son of Febe Justice Jennings and the late Vernon Holmes. He worked in maintenance and security and was a US Army veteran. A brother, Roger Holmes and an aunt, Nellie Holmes preceded him in death. In addition to his mother, survivors include two sons, Richard Holmes and wife, Olivia of Oak Hill, and Tommy Holmes and wife, Christy of Oak Hill; stepson, Shawn Fields and wife, Kazan of Princeton; brothers, David Holmes of Tennessee, Billy Holmes and Steve Holmes both of Oklahoma; and sisters, Barbara Berry Hill, Debra Bunnie Yocum and Verna Campbell all of Oklahoma. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Frank Calvert officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Sunday, April 21, 2013 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
