The Homegoing of Gary Wayne Johnson II, 41, of Oak Hill, WV was Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill. Born November 9, 1970, at Beckley, WV, was the son of his mother, Gailia Ann Rogers and her husband, Rev. John Rogers of Mullens; his father, Gary Wayne Johnson I and wife, Amy of Kentucky; and his father, Eddie Ramsey and wife, Linda L. of Fayetteville. He was a truck driver and a member of Mountain View Church of God at Hilltop. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Johnson and his grandfather, James H. Honaker. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Nelson Johnson; one son, Gary Wayne Johnson III of Fayetteville; a stepson, Christopher Cox of Oak Hill; a stepdaughter, Jessica Cox of Oak Hill; his grandmother, Edith Allen Honaker of Oak Hill; two sisters, Kimberly Ann Danch and husband, Rob of Berlin Center, OH and Ashley Dawn Urumelog of Oak Hill; stepbrothers and stepsisters, Ashley Miller of Lexington, KY and Nick Miller of Lexington, KY and Joe Rogers of Bradenton, FL and Amie Rogers of Bradenton, FL. Services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, July 23, 2012 at Mountain View Church of God at Hilltop with Pastor John Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.
