Gary William Gilbert

Gary William Gilbert, 79, of Oak Hill passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at CAMC General in Charleston, WV.

Born April 27, 1945 in Bellevue, Ohio he was the son of the late William Franklin and Amy Marcia Evert Gilbert.

Gary retired from Teamsters Union and was a proud United States Army Veteran and in his leisure he enjoyed watching his favorite football team the Cleveland Browns, cooking, reading, and most of all he loved spending time with his family. especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by companion Bonnie Harrah; 2 sons, Mark Gilbert and Matthew Gilbert; and sister, Linda Lee Garman.

Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his loving daughters, Melissa Menei (Mickey) and Rebecca Pack (Scott); son, Daniel Gilbert; grandchildren, Nicolas Menei (Brittney), Taylor Hall (Nick) and Jerod Pack (Tyler); 3 great granddaughters; 1 great grandson, sister, Marsha Alkire; brother, Glen Gilbert; and many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Mr. Gilbert's wishes he will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
