Garnett Gaither Garden

Garnett Jewel Gaither Garden , 84, of Ashland, OH formerly of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Ashland, OH. Born January 29, 1928 at Scarbro, WV she was the daughter of the late Baxter and Damar Thomas Gaither. Mrs. Garden was a member of the Jones Avenue First Church of God, Oak Hill and a homemaker. Her husband, Nicholas David "Nick" Garden and son, Gary Wayne Garden preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Curtis and husband, John of Virginia Beach, VA and Becky Corbin and husband, Perry of Ashland, OH and a sister, Ruth McVey of Prosperity. Also surviving are four grandchildren, John A. Curtis, Jeremy N. Curtis, Gary W. Garden and Tara L. Donnen. Funeral services will be on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 2:30 P.M. at the Jones Avenue First Church of God in Oak Hill with Rev. Ralph Shupe and Rev. Tonya Shupe officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.
