Gaillard Allen "Al" Dobbs , 71, of Glen Jean, WV died on Monday, December 20, 2010 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born September 24, 1939 at Columbus, OH he was the son of the late J. Loury and Helen Fogle Dobbs. Al was a retired patrolman for the Sanibell, Florida Police Department. He was a member of the Sun Full Gospel Church, Masonic Lodge #4 A.F. and A.M. of Worthington, OH and the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Valley of Fort Myers, Orient of Florida.. Survivors include wife, Catheline "Joy" Lewis Dobbs; two sons, Daniel Dobbs of Columbus, OH and Jerry Dobbs of Ft. Myers, FL and three grandchildren, Danielle Crum, Jessica Dobbs and Patrick Dobbs Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Jessie Parker officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
