Freda Howard Babinski

Freda Howard Babinski, 54, of McEwen, TN passed away Monday, October 31, 2005 following a short illness. She was the daughter of Lois Rice Howard Blaschak, also known as the poet Jenny Wren, of Lancing, TN formerly of Scarbro, WV and the late Cager D. Howard who preceded her in 1983. Freda was the author of two published books of poetry. She loved her God who was foremost in her life. She was a veteran and her passion was helping veterans. In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Lyle Stanley Babinski; sister, Louise Whitson and husband, Curtis, of Lancing, TN; two nieces, Audrey Korgan and Angela Benton and many other relatives and friends. She will be missed by friends the world over that she met through the internet. Funeral services will be held 8:00 PM Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg, TN with Rev. Rick Taylor officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Graveside rites and committal service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, November 3, 2005 at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill, WV with Rev. John Bowen officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
