Fred "Berghoff" Ronald Pennington, 70, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, November 20, 2003 at CAMA - General Division in Charleston, WV following a long illness. Born November 01, 1933 at Scarbro, WV he was the son of the late Lewis Clark and Elizabeth Weatherford Pennington. Mr. Pennington was a retired Mechanic/Detail Man for Steen-Miller and was a member of the First Bethren Church, Oak Hill, WV. He served in the Army during Korean Conflict having attained the rank of CPL. He was preceded in death by his several half brothers and sisters. Survivors include wife, Suzanne Hall Pennington daughter, Rachel Nicole Pennington of Harrisonburg, VA son, Christopher Ronald Pennington of Oak Hill Brother: Lloyd Smith and wife, Shirley, Sun City Center, FL Half-Brothers: Charles Keatley of Miami, FL Lawrence Keatley of Princeton Robert Keatley of Pennsylvania Thomas Keatley of Princeton Half- Sisters: Wilma Connor of Princeton Alta Beamer of Princeton Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Sunday, November 23, 2003 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be on Monday, November 24, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. William Skeldon and Rev. Charles Strawn officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV. Memorial contributions may be made to the OHHS/CHS Alumni Association, PO Box 462, Oak Hill, WV 25901.
