Franklin Delano Jacks

Franklin Delano Jacks , 78, of Mount Hope, WV died on Sunday, June 01, 2014 at Hilltop Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hilltop, WV. Born June 19, 1935 at Liggett, KY he was the son of the late Willie and Louise Stines Jacks. He was a retired Co-Owner/Operator for Plastics Factory in Akron, OH and was a US Air Force veteran. Franklin was the last survivor of his three brothers and three sisters. He has preceded in death by his long time companion, Clara Burgess. Survivors include step daughter, Brenda Burgess of Oak Hill; granddaughter, McKayla Burgess of Oak Hill; two nieces, Patricia Garcia and Debra Jacks; and nephew, Lonnie Wykle. Also surviving are extended family, Jennifer Underwood and family; sisters-in-law, Roberta Jacks, Barbara Williams and Dorothy Sawyer, along with several additional nieces and nephews. At his request, Mr. Jacks was cremated. Graveside rites and committal will be on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill with Pastor Jennifer Underwood officiating. Burial will follow.
