Frankie Workman

Frankie Burwick Workman, 68, of Rt. 1, Fayetteville, WV died Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV. She was born May 4, 1938 at Rush Run, WV, a daughter of the late Joe Burwick and Leotia Rucker Burwick. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlon Gene Workman. Survivors include her children, Marvin Workman, Frankie Workman and Arnold J. Workman all of Minden, WV; Shelby Grubb of North Carolina, Kathy Jenkins of Fayetteville, WV, Betty A. Workman of Minden, WV, Barbara Powers of Virginia and Doris Workman of Minden, WV; seven grandchildren, Rachel Henderson, Tracy Coleman, Eric Jenkins, Thresa Skaggs, Steven Gwinn, Jennifer Gwinn and Sue Ann Gwinn; four great grandchildren. Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill, WV with Pastor Jackie Pittman officiating. Burial will follow at the Bibb Cemetery, Rt. 1, Fayetteville, WV. Friends may call from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Eric Jenkins, Thomas Coleman, Bob Powers, Steven Gwinn, Mike Moralis and Steve Hayslett.
