Francis J. Roggan

Francis Jerome Roggan, 88, of Rt 1 Scarbro, WV died on Sunday, February 03, 2008 at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, WV. He was born on December 02, 1919 at Buffalo, NY. Mr. Roggan was a retired Las Vegas casino employee having worked for the Hacienda and Rendevous Racing Casino and Sports Books. Survivors include his wife, Arvilla Jane Williams Roggan; stepson, Richard Williams of Cohocton, NY; granddaughter, Alica Williams of Beckley; grandson, Richard Williams, Jr. stationed at the Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis, NM and three great grandchildren. A memorial service will be on February 6, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at First United Methodist Church in Beckley with Dr. Bob Stoddard officiating. Friends may call 15 minutes prior to the service Wednesday at the church. His cremains will be interred at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity at a later date.
