Frances Williams

Frances Pricilla Canterbury Williams, 77, of Mount Hope, WV died on Sunday, June 20, 2004 at Ansted Center in Ansted, WV following a short illness. Born April 26, 1927 at Lick Fork, WV she was the daughter of the late Dayton and Clara McKinnley Canterbury. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Williams was a member of the New Beginning Church of God, Glen Jean, WV. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Rosco, Delbert, Robert, Clarence and Roy Canterbury. Survivors include husband, Richard Elbert Williams; sons, Ricky Williams of Beckley, Roger Williams of Toledo, OH; daughters, Patricia (John) Campbell of St. Louis, MO, Pamela Peterman of Cincinnati, OH; brothers, Clayton Canterbury of Prosperity, Hugie Canterbury of Bradley, Dayton Canterbury of Bradley; sister, Katerine (George) Bostic of Beckley; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Tuesday, June 22, 2004 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Services will be on Wednesday, June 23, 2004, at 1:00 pm at the New Beginning Church of God in Glen Jean with Rev. John Pack and Rev. George Bostic officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill WV.
