Frances Ann Tucker passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021. Frances was born on July 23, 1942 out in Mt. Olive, WV at the Tucker homeplace. She is the eldest child of Arnold and Lucille Tucker who proceeds her in death.
Her surviving kin, would include: sister, Sharon Phillips of Mossy, WV, brother, John Tucker (Jean) of Kingston, NC, niece Casey Phillips of Mossy, WV and nephew Eddie Gay (Terry) of South Carolina, uncle, Alvin (Katie) of Bridgeport, WV. Cousins Dianna, Karen, Lucy, and Tom, Martha, Judy, Burley, and so many more along with special friends Carl and Chris Parsons.
Frances was a homemaker and loved her family. She always had a story to tell or some news about something she seen or heard. She loved for everyone to gather together and spend time all together catching up and getting the latest gossip on what was new, neat and exciting. She loved to go with her friends shopping, or to flea markets, or she was just down to go see the sites and go to places she hadn't been before. She loved the Lord and going to church and was a faithful goer right until she couldn't get there any longer but she still listened and watched it on the radio or TV. We love and miss her dearly but we all find comfort in knowing exactly where she is and who she is walking with now.
Visitation for the family will be from 10am-11am and visitation for all is from 11 am-12pm.
Funeral service will be 12PM Noon on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with Pastor Richard Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill, WV
