Frances Yurich Raynes , 84, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at CAMC - General Division in Charleston, WV following a brief illness.
Born July 11, 1931 at Montgomery, WV she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine Metovich Yurich.
She was a member of the SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Oak Hill.
Frances was a graduate of Montgomery High School. She was a proprietor of several businesses throughout her life. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family and was happiest when helping others. Volunteering her time and talents to various churches and community organizations was her passion.
The family would like to thank the staff at CAMC General for the excellent care received, especially Dr. Shaun Reinert and the nursing staff of the ICU..
Her husband of 64 years, Luther Buel "L.B." Raynes, Jr. preceded her in death on April 27, 2015. She was also preceded by her brother, Michael Yurich of Roanoke, VA.
Frances' love and caring heart will be truly missed by those left to cherish her memories, which include daughter, Cathy Raynes Lively and husband, Jim Lively, Jr. of Fayetteville and their sons, Dr. Jamie Lively and his wife, Dr. Nicole Phillips of Wheeling and Luke Lively of Oak Hill; and son, Scott Raynes and wife, Shawnna Bryan and their daughters, Delaney and Ella Raynes all of Gulf Breeze, FL.
Funeral services will be on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 4:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Father Symeon Galazka officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
