Frances 'Frankie" Jane Rose

Frances "Frankie:" Jane Weeks Rose, 84, of Oak Hill passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024 at her residence with her family by her side.

Born February 11, 1940 in Lester, WV she was the daughter of the late Wannie and Anna Smith Weeks.

Frances worked as a telephone operator and in her leisure she enjoyed sewing, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Rose; son, Patrick Rose; sisters, JoAnn, and Shirley;  brothers, Pearly and Dennis; and son-in-law, Melvin.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her loving daughter, Shea Smith; son, Michael Rose (Caroline) 5 grandchildren, Bramble Conner, Hunter Rose, Hayleigh Rose, Takisha May, and Thomas Rose; 3 great grandchildren, Ian Conner, Kanyon Conner, and Joslin Conner; daughter-in-law, Crystal Rose; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 12:30 PM on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with Pastor Darrell Fuller officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Oak Hill.

Visitation for friends will be from 11:45 AM until 12:30 PM on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the funeral home in Oak Hill.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
