Fleming Rook Huddleston, Jr.

Fleming Rook Huddleston, Jr., 69, of Oak Hill, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024 in a Charleston hospital.
Born August 16, 1954, at Oak Hill, he was the son of the late Fleming Rook Huddleston, Sr. and Barbara (Stinnett) Huddleston.
Fleming was a former carpenter and salesman. He was a graduate of Collins High School, a lifelong resident of Oak Hill, he was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church and attended the Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church. In his leisure he enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching old westerns, and spending time with his grandchildren who were his world.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his son, Jason Lee Huddleston; and one brother, Charles Huddleston.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving and devoted wife, Marsha Huddleston; his daughter, Brooke Cunningham and her husband, Nicholas of East Bank; three grandchildren, Cecilia and Paisley Cunningham and Lindsey Huddleston; two brothers, Desmond Huddleston and his wife, Debra of Oak Hill and Joe Huddleston and his wife, Sherry of Lebanon, TN; his cousins who were more like brothers, Bill McCurdy and his wife, Tammy of Pineville and Kevin Burgess of Oak Hill; uncle, Barney Stinnett and his wife, Sara Nell of Oak Hill; aunt, Betty Burgess of Oak Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, April 22, 2024 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill with Pastor Roger Harding and Bill McCurdy officiating. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill.
Friends may call one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
