Fern White Turner

Fern White Turner , 80, of Mancelona, MI and Leesburg, FL passed away on Saturday, December 03, 2011 in Tavares, FL. Born November 02, 1931 at LaFollette, TN she was the daughter of the late Alonzo and Ellon Sharp White of Oak Hill, WV. She was a homemaker and a member of the Voice of Calvary Church, Altoona, FL. The Turner's had made Leesburg their winter home since 1999. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Andrew Turner, son, Thomas Adkins and wife, Cindy of Mancelona, Mich. daughter, Connie Day and husband, Jerry of Kalkaska, Mich., brothers, Ralph White of Oak Hill, and Ronnie White of Webster Springs, sisters, Edith Phelps of Bandera, TX, Wanda Lilly of Rupert and Imogene Wills of Grove City, OH, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill. with Rev. Jimmy Miller officiating. Burial will be at Bibb Cemetery, Gatewood. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
