Evelyn Painter Thompson

Evelyn Painter Thompson, 93, of Buckhannon, WV died on Sunday, August 24, 2003 at Serenity Care Home in Buckhannon, WV. Born August 02, 1910 at Oak Hill, WV she was the daughter of the late Cyrus Edmund and Lula Duncan Painter. Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker and a member of the Webster Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her her husband, Ralph O. Thompson on March 10, 1976. Survivors include Sons: Roger Thompson of Buckhannon Randy Thompson of Burke, VA Daughter: Jean Douglas of Jacksonville, TX Brother: Harold Painter of Oak Hill 8 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Wednesday, August 27, 2003 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Services will be on Thursday, August 28, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Dennis Kincaid officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park., Oak Hill WV
