Evelyn Ellen "Nana" Mcmillion

Evelyn Ellen “Nana” McMillion, age 67, of Mount Hope passed away Friday, October 16, 2015 at Plateau Medical Center.

She was born October 27, 1947 in Fireco, WV and was the daughter of the late Amos Minor and Minnie (Thompson) Minor.

Evelyn was a member of the Kilsyth Freewill Baptist Church and was employed by
Dollar Tree in Beckley, WV.

She is preceded in death by her husband David Leonard McMillion, two brothers Amos (Buddy) Minor and James (Bussy) Minor, two sisters Wanda Keffer and Helen Roby, one half sister Helen Lashley.

Those left to cherish her memories include her daughter Tonya Woods and husband Jimmy of Oak Hill; two grandchildren Zachary Woods and Courtney Woods both of Oak Hill and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 1:00P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home Mount Hope with Preacher Orville Setliff officiating. Visitation for the public will be held from 11:00 A.M to 1:00P.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill, WV.

Nephews and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donation of sympathy be made to Tyree Funeral Home to defray funeral expenses.
