Evelyn Ruth Cox Nunn

Evelyn Ruth Cox Nunn , 93, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at her home. Born November 14, 1917 at Grayson County, KY she was the daughter of the late Denny and Laura Elam Cox. Evelyn was a homemaker and a volunteer at Plateau Medical Center. Her husband, Stephen D. Nunn preceded her in death on September 3, 1985. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survivors include daughters, Rosalie Moses and husband, Lowell of Divide, Colorado, Mary Ellen Glas and husband, Larry of Lake In The Hills, Illinois, and Angeli Louisos and husband, Frank of Thaxton, Virginia and two sons, Steve Nunn and wife, Gertie of Scarbro and Greg Nunn and wife, Donna of Oak Hill. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Nunn's body was donated to the WVU Human Gift Registry in Morgantown. At her request there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
