Ethel Marie Plumley Williams , 92, of Beckley, WV died on Friday, April 15, 2016 at the home of her daughter.
Born February 27, 1924 at Quinnimont, WV she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Susie Martin Plumley.
Ethel was a member of the Calloway Heights Baptist Church, Beckley and a homemaker.
Her husband, Oie Oda Williams; one sister; Margaret Sneedon; five brothers, David, Darrell, Paul, Edward and Glenn Plumley; son-in-law, Roger Tyree preceded her in death.
Surviving are her loving and devoted family which includes son, Jesse (Iris) Williams of Mount Hope; daughters, Ramona Tyree of Cirtsville, Sue (Carl) Murdock of Mount Hope, Judy (Frankie) Perry of Mount Hope and Julie (Tommy) Anderson of Beckley; brothers, Charles Plumley of Beckley, Henry (Kathy) Plumley of Beckley, and James (Judy) Plumley of Florida; sisters, Eileen Walker of Maryland, Mary (Robert) Persinger of Cleveland, OH, Juanita Motor of Beckley and Nancy (Derald) Sweeney of North Carolina; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Rev. William "Bill" Parker officiating. Burial will be at Overton Williams Cemetery, North Sand Branch.
Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
