Ethel Mildred Arnold Reany, 92 of Pottstown, PA, formerly or Oak Hill, WV passed away on January 21,2008. Ethel was the daughter of the late Samuel and Louisa Dempsey Woods Holly. Born January 27, 1915 at Lookout, WV, she was the last of 12 brothers and sisters. She is survived by four daughters, Norma Jean Arnold Hald and husband, Ben of Chesapeake Beach, MD. Barbara Joyce Reany Shoup and husband, Michael of Rockledge, Florida, Patricia Ann Arnold of Annapolis, Maryland and Debbie Lynn Reany Edge and husband, Wayland of Fayetteville, North Carolina and 1 step-son Robert Reany of Louisiana. She is also survived by nieces Mary Buckland & Letha Collingswood of Pottstown, Pa., Virginia Flint of Salisbury, Md., Marie Holly of Detroit, Michigan, nephews Alfred Tincher of Brandywine, Pa., Dewey Hoseapple of Pittsburgh, Pa, Raymond Thomas of Detroit, Michigan and Paul Thomas of Detroit, Michigan and cousin Emmy Proskin of Oak Hill, WV Also surviving are four grandchildren David Hald of Mount Airy, Md., Linda Hald of North Beach, Md., Zachary Shoup and Elizabeth Shoup of Rockledge, Florida. She was preceded in death by seven sisters, Maucina Elizabeth (Betty) Gordon, Eloise Powell, Willie May Tincher, Irene Blanch Lewis, Elsie Gertrude Thomas, Frances Arbell Holly and three brothers, David Daniel Holly, Sam Addison Holly, Sylvester Holly, half sister Mollie Woods and one half brother. A memorial service will be held at a later date. She will be buried in the Holly family plot at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Oak Hill. The family would like to thank all the nursing staff at Manatawny Manor Nursing Home in Pottstown, Pa. and Saint John Hospice for all the loving care they gave our loved one.
