Esther Elizabeth Reed Cafego

Esther Elizabeth Reed Cafego , 96, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, July 07, 2014 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born January 23, 1918 at Dorothy, WV she was the daughter of the late John and Sissie Conley Reed. She was a retired nursing assistant for Montgomery General Hospital and Charleston area hospitals. Esther was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Oak Hill and attended the Methodist Church at Powellton. Her husband, Frank Cafego; daughter, Ann Cafego Lalli; and son, John H. Cafego preceded her in death as did all of her brother and sisters. Survivors include daughters, Wanda Meador of Oak Hill and Shirley Kirk of Oak Hill; two sons, Franklin W. Cafego of Oak Hill and Frank Dana Cafego of Oak Hill; eighteen grandchildren and thirty one great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene with Dr. Randy James officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the serivce on Thursday at the church. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
