Esther "Cookie" Mcguffin

Esther Jane "Cookie" Waugh McGuffin, 68, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at her home. Born August 22, 1941 at Brooklyn, WV she was the daughter of the late Clarence Howard and Herma Ellen Stewart Waugh. She was a disabled nursing assistant having worked for Plateau Medical Center. Mrs. McGuffin was a member of the Protestant. Her husband, Glenn Franklin McGuffin, two sisters and four brothers preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Glenn Anthony "Andy" McGuffin and wife, Tammy of Shady Spring; brother, Harry Waugh of Scarbro; three sisters, Grace Pittman of Oak Hill, Velma Newton of Pounding Mill, VA and Yvonne Leffel of Oak Hill and two grandchildren, Jared Scott McGuffin and Jordan Ashleigh McGuffin both of Shady Spring. A committal service will be on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Oak Hill with Rev. Justin Seay and Rev. Charles "Ricky" Pittman officiating.
