Esther I. Edwards Zwicharowski

Esther Isabell Edwards Zwicharowski , 80, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Hidden Valley Nursing and Rehab Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born November 01, 1933 at Elmhurst, PA she was the daughter of the late Walter L. and Valeda I. Rodney Edwards. Esther worked over 17 years as a Deli Manager at Giant Food in Maryland where she retired in 2001. She loved baseball, was a very independent person, could build and repair anything, was a wonderful cook, and had a big heart to help others in need. Esther was married to Louis Zwicharowski who preceded her in death in November of 1983. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Carrie Held, Mary Coughlin, Jennet Scott, Richard Edwards and William Edwards. Survivors include her children, Thomas Butler and wife, Debbie of Elmhurst, PA, Cindy Schiller and husband, Scott of Olney, MD, Luann Jeffries and husband, Rick of Oak Hill and Mark Zwicharowski and wife, Carrie of Hagerstown, MD; sister, Alice Parola of Elmhurst, PA; grandchildren, Michele Toy, Jamie Hula and husband, Steve, Brian Schiller, Morgen Ryan and Kyle Zwicharowski; great grandchildren, James and Jacob Toy and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Thomas McClung officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. She will be buried at a later date in Maryland. The family would like to extend a special heart felt thank you to the staff at The Summit, Mary's Garden and Hidden Valley in Oak Hill and the employees of Hospice.
