Ernest R. Bragg, Sr.

Ernest “Ernie” Ray Bragg, Sr., 61 of Huntersville, NC went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 3, 2007. Ernie was born on July 16, 1945 in Lochgelly, West Virginia. He was the son of the late Herbert E. and Virginia E. Webster Bragg. He was a loving and devoted father and grandfather. Important things in his life were his Christian faith and his children and grandchildren. Ernie was a long time member of Huntersville Church of God. Survivors include his daughter Ginger Bragg Green and his grandson, Tyler Grosso of Charlotte, North Carolina; a sister Lou Ella Foss (Jim) of Pittsboro, North Carolina; three brothers, Michael Bragg (Linda) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Pat Bragg (Charlene) of Huntersville, North Carolina and David Bragg (Sandra) of Lochgelly, West Virginia. In addition to his parents, Ernie was preceded in death by his son, Ernest R. Bragg Jr. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 8, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, West Virginia. Burial will be at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Oak Hill, WV.
