Ernest Addair

Ernest Addair, 69, of Mount Hope, WV died on Thursday, February 26, 2004 at Veterans Administration Hospital in Beckley, WV following a long illness. Born April 08, 1934 at McDowell County, WV he was the son of the late Noah and Lola Smith Addair. He was a painter for Inland Container, Ashtabula, OH. Mr. Addair attended the Primative Baptist Church and was a member of the American Legion, Bradshaw, WV. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his son, Lee Ernest Addair. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Walker Addair daughter, Tonya Wolfe and husband, Mike, and their children, Ryan and Katie of Springfield, MO step-son, Mike Markham and wife, Sue, and their children, Tyler and Laura of St. Louis, MO brother, Ronald Addair and wife, Libby, of Conneaut, OH sisters, Shirley Thornton and husband, Freeman, of Chester, VA; Carol West and husband, Gene, of Dayton, OH and Brenda White of West Carrollton, NC special sister-in-law, Mary Jane Addair of Dorset, NC Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Sunday, February 29, 2004, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. Services will be on February 29, 2004 at 6:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Paul Harris officiating. Mr. Addair will be cremated following the service.
