Erma Louise Crawford Pennington , 94, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Hidden Valley Nursing and Rehab Center in Oak Hill, WV.

Born February 26, 1922 at Whipple, WV she was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Lorna Catherine Fitzpatrick Crawford.

Erma was a long time member of the Summerlee Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Welch High School. She had worked as a clerk for New River Company Stores and was a homemaker.

Her husband, Marshall Edward Pennington; sisters, Wilma Phillips, Genevieve Lilly and Catherine Berry; and brother, James Crawford preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Marshall Edward Pennington, Jr. and wife, Sandra of Oak Hill and James Pennington of Tallahassee, FL; daughter, Beverly Conner and husband, Phillip of Lincolnton, NC; brother, William Thomas Crawford, Jr. of Whipple; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. John McKinnon officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.

Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Pallbearers will be Marshall Pennington, III, Mark Pennington, Tadd Pennington, Mike Pennington, Brian Pennington, Sonny Berry, Phil Conner and Joel Davis.
