Eric Dwain Castle , 67, of Beaver, WV passed away peacefully on Friday, December 26, 2014 at his home.
Born November 17, 1947 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late Ora and Claudia Leigh Treadway Castle.
Eric was born and raised in West Virginia. His career as a heavy equipment supervisor led him to live in various states until he settled in Richmond, VA. After retiring, he moved back to West Virginia to be close to his family.
He was someone who lived life to the fullest - always finding things to keep himself busy; he loved working on old cars. Eric loved spending time with friends and family, he never missed an opportunity for a get together..
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jody Marie Rugel.
Left with many wonderful memories to cherish are his son, Mathew Dwain Blake; daughter, Rebecca Leigh Bane; four grandchildren, Mathew Christopher Blake, Bryan Michael Bane, Blake Haven Bane and Serah Kathryn Rugel; a sister, Victoria Shuff and a host of other family and friends.
In accordance with his wishes, Eric was cremated. The family will celebrate his life privately.
