Enous L. Barrett

Enous Lee Barrett , 77, of Glen Jean, WV died on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born January 12, 1933 at Burdette, VA he was the son of the late Richard Washington and Ruby Virginia Denson Barrett. He was a retired self-employed painter and a US Air Corps veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. A son, Michael Blair Barrett, brothers, Richard Washington Barrett, Jr, Vernon Carroll Barrett and Douglas MacArthur Barrett, sister, Iris Wanda Kiernan and his former wife, Barbara Barrett preceded him in death. Survivors include two sons, Dwight Barrett of Illinois and John Barrett of Virginia, four daughters, Martha Barrett of Michigan, Amy Washington of Florida, Beth Cales of North Carolina and Megan Campbell of West Virginia and a brother, Glen Franklin Barrett of Branchville, VA. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Graveside rites and committal services will be on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill with Rev. Melvin Adkins officiating and military graveside rites by Oak Hill VFW Post 3110. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation.
