Emory Jackson “Jay” Williams, Jr. age 38, of Mount Hope, WV passed away of Thursday, November 25, 2010 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born May 10, 1972 in Princeton, NJ, he was the son of the late Emory Jackson Williams, Sr. and Margaret Ann Rakes Williams. Jay was employed in the asphalt paving industry with Jane Lee and was a member of the Oak Hill Moose Lodge. Surviving are his 2 sons and 3 daughters, Destiny Williams of Oak Hill, Chasity Williams, Brittany Williams and Anthony Williams all of Fayetteville and Jacob Williams of Beckley, WV; his companion of several years, Jessica Edward of Maple Fork; his granddaughter, Nevaeh Williams of Oak Hill; his brother, Carl Williams and his wife Judy of Glen Jean; his four sisters, Sandi Williams of Huntington, WV; Jackie Ward of Oak Hill, Brenda Runyon and her husband John of Maple Fork and Sharon Bowyer and her husband Allan of Maple Fork. Also surviving are many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M.. Monday, November 29, 2010, at the Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with Rev. Robert Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 P.M. on Sunday, November 28, 2010.
