Emogene Copley

Emogene Richmond Copley, 73, of Oak Hill, WV died Friday, August 27, 2010 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV after a short illness. Born August 3, 1937 at Pluto, WV, she was a daughter of J. J. and Minnie Bennett Richmond. She was a housewife, a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Oak Hill, and was known for her card ministry. Survivors include her husband, Tommy E. Copley; one son, Tommy D. Copley of Oak Hill; one daughter, Tonja Gray of Oak Hill; grandchildren, Clint Gray of Mount Hope and Chrissy Gray of Oak Hill; one great granddaughter, Hallie Gray of Oak Hill; sister-in-law, Ruth Richmond of LaGrange, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. David Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.
