Emma Virginia Shaloski Watters, 73, of Oak Hill, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2006 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born August 1, 1933 at Pulaski, Virginia, a daughter of the late Felix and Gertrude Phillips Shaloski. Emma retired as a teller from Bank One after 22 1/2 years. She was a member of the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene, and a 1951 graduate of Kingston High School. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bernard Shaloski. Survivors include her daughters, Susan E. Watters of Richmond, VA and Lisa Neely and husband, Melvin of Huntsville,TX; four grandchildren, Michael Shane Protka and Summer Nicole Protka of Richmond, VA; and Brandon Scott and Melissa Dawn Neely of Huntsville, TX; great grandchildren, Brandon Scott Neely, II, Breanna Leigh, and Autumn Skye Neely of Huntsville, TX; sister, Lorraine Shaloski of Indiana and sister-in-law, Willard Shaloski of Easley, SC. Services will be 11 A. M. Wednesday at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill, with Pastor Jerry Bush officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to service on Wednesday.
