Emma Lou Lanham

Emma Lou Stewart Lanham passed away Wed Nov 8th 2023 at the Hubbard House in Charleston WV surrounded by her family. Emma was born Feb 27th 1934 to Albert and Gladys Stewart.

 

Emma is preceded in death by two infant children, her parents, Sisters Kathleen Tanner, Evelyn Jeffires and Judy Hollman and Brothers Junior and Denver Stewart.

 

Those left to cherish her memories include Brother Douglas Stewart, Sisters AnnaMae Fugate, Alberta Daniels, Daphene Holcomb, and Betty Matek. Children Steve (Debbie) Lanham, Debra (Ronnie Reese, Terry (Libby) Lanham, Sherry (Steve) Wriston, Toney (Jewel) Lanham, Barry (Karen) Lanham, Bruce Lanham, Robert Lanham, Billy Lanham, and Sandra (Mike) Knopp. Emma Lou had 18 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

 

Respecting Emma’s wishes she will be cremated and a private family graveside service will take place this Saturday.
