Elsie Bandy Wooldridge

Elsie E. Catlett Bandy Wooldridge, 95, of Beckley, WV died on Monday, April 25, 2005 at Heartland of Beckley in Beckley, WV. Born April 17, 1910 at Buckingham County, VA she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Huddleston Catlett. Mrs. Wooldridge was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church, Bradley, WV and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Bandy; her second husband, Bryant Wooldridge; two sons, Robert L. Bandy and Floyd Ray Bandy, Jr.; one daughter, Lela Mae Coleman and one grandson, James Robert Bandy. She was also preceded by eight brothers, Richard, Darrell, Robert, John, George, Percy, Eddie and Leonard Catlett; four sisters, Birdie Smith, Mary Cain, Geraldine Gilliam and Ethel Barley.. Survivors include son, James Larry Bandy of Beckley; two daughters, Isabelle Thomas of Baltimore, MD and Peggy Brown and husband, Elliott of Suwanee, GA; seven step-children; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope, WV on Tuesday, April 26, 2005, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Services will be on Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Gerald Kelly and Rev. Daniel Legg officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV.
