Elsie Pearl Williams

Elsie Pearl DeBoard Williams , 87, of Pax, WV died on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born August 18, 1921 at Clay County, WV she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Emma Smith DeBoard. Elsie was a member of the Beckley Seventh Adventist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter James Williams; an infant daughter, Sandra Renee; six brothers and four sisters. Survivors include one son, Terry Williams and wife, Tammy of Cool Ridge, WV; two daughters, Robin Mullins and husband, Everette of Pax, WV and Karen Basham and husband, Tony of Beckley, WV and one sister, Donna Young of Oak Hill WV. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and other loving friends and family members. Services will be on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Pax Advent Church with Pastor Samuel Simuzoshya officiating. Burial will be at Pax Community Cemetery, Pax WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Saturday, September 20, 2008 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the church.
