Elsie Hess Kendall, 83, of The Villages, FL formerly of Beckley and Oak Hill, WV died on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Arbor Village Nursing Home in Wildwood, FL. Born October 06, 1924 at Eckman, WV she was the daughter of the late Estel and Goldie Lovell Hess. Mrs. Kendall was a member of the First Baptist Church of Beckley and was a homemaker. Survivors include husband, Harold O. Kendall; one daughter, Shirley Davis and husband, Mike of The Villages, FL one brother, Don Hess of Princeton and two grandchildren, Sara Beth Santana and Michael Davis both of Tampa, FL. Services will be on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with a eulogy by Mike Davis officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
