Elsie Hughart Bryant

Elsie Marie Hughart Bryant , 92, of Mount Hope, WV died on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at The Arbors in Gallipolis, OH.

Born March 19, 1923 at Metalton, WV she was the daughter of the late Emmit Hughart and Zelda Ayers Hughart Dower.

She was a retired clerk for Hill's Department Store in Beckley.

Mrs. Bryant was a member of the Mount Hope Christian Church.

Her husband Cecil Bryant preceded her in death in 1951. She was also preceded by a son, Myron Bryant; brother, James C. Hughart and sister, Nellie Anderson.

Survivors include a son, Dana M. "Doc" Bryant of Sevierville, TN; one daughter, Theresa Burgess of Oak Hill; six grandchildren; one great granddaughter and two great-great granddaughters.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Minister Dennis Kinzer officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
