Elsie May Beals Taylor , 95, of Wriston, WV died on Friday, December 20, 2013 at Hilltop Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hilltop, WV. Born June 20, 1918 at Cheyenne, OK she was the daughter of the late Abe and Bertha Kiser Beals. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Loop Creek Baptist Church at Wriston. Her first husband, Luther Copley; second husband, Ernest Taylor; grandson, Robert Settle; great granddaughter, Montana Rose Riser; sisters, Gladys Blake and Virginia Ina Garrett; and brothers, David Beals, Kenneth Beals, and Martin Beals all preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, Betty Phillips and husband, Virgil of Ashland, OH, Franklin D. Copley and wife, Barbara of Latonia, KY and Eva Mae Settle and husband, James of Wriston; three sisters, Odella Pennington of Beards Fork, Evelyn Abbott of Oak Hill and Edna Kincaid of Oak Hill; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and twenty eight great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Charles Webb officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.
