Ella Cleo Phillips Edwards, 98, of Oak Hill, WV died on Saturday, November 15, 2003 at The Summit at Hidden Valley in Oak Hill, WV following a long illness. Born October 27, 1905 at Lerona, WV she was the daughter of the late Winton Carrington and Rhoda St. Clair Phillips. Mrs. Edwards was a member of the Lerona Methodist Church, Lerona, WV and attended the Calvary Baptist Church in Oak Hill. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fitzhue Lee Edwards and a son, Roy Lee Edwards Survivors include Son: Russell Edwards of Oak Hill Daughter: Lucille Smith and husband, Ivy, of Manchester, MO Sister: Violet Gunter of Oak Hill 4 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren 1 great great grandchild Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Wednesday, November 19, 2003, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Services will be on Wednesday, November 19, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Bernie Jernigan officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
