Elizabeth Ann (Withrow) Ellis

Elizabeth Ann Withrow Ellis, 76, of Oak Hill passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Hidden Valley Center in Oak Hill.

Born May 22, 1948 in Lochgelly, WV she was the daughter of the late James and Clara Smith Withrow.

Elizabeth retired from Wal-Mart working as a cashier. She was a member of Carlisle First Church of God and in her leisure she enjoyed making crafts.

Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Henry "Sonny" Lewis Ellis.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her loving son, Floyd Modispaw (Heather); 2 grandchildren, Lacie Elizabeth Modispaw and Kylie Rose Modispaw; sister, Carolyn Adams; and brother, Donald Withrow.

Graveside rites with entombment to follow will be 10:00 AM on Monday, January 6, 2025 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

Those wishing to attend the graveside are asked to meet at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations of sympathy be made to a local Kidney Foundation of your choice.
