Elizabeth Ann LaRocco, loving wife, caring mother, and proud grandmother entered into eternal rest with God her Heavenly Father on Holy Thursday, April 17, 2014. Libby was born March 25, 1949 and was the precious daughter of Aileen Treadway and the late Claris Treadway. She was a resident of Oak Hill and a member of the class of 1967 of Collins High School where she excelled in Home Economics and was selected by her classmates as attendants to Miss Red Devil and May Queen. There she met her true love, Nick LaRocco, Jr., and was married for 47 years. She was an incredible inspiration to her two children, Michael and Michell. She was adored by her three grandchildren Noah, Camden, and Natalie. Her best days were spent with her family gathering at Thurmond along the New River watching her son and grandsons play Oak Hill baseball. She loved every moment she spent with her 3 grandkids. Libby was a joy to be around and was treasured by all who knew her. She valued family most and will be greatly missed by them all: Mother – Aileen Treadway, Sister -Sheila Toney and husband Ham, Brother -Gary Treadway and wife Wanda, Son-in-law -Ardie Craddock, Sisters-in-law -Josephine Butcher and husband Dave and Marlene Adkins and husband Mick, Brother-in-law -Bo LaRocco and wife Pat, Mother-in-law Mary LaRocco. Also, she had many cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. She was preceded in death by her daddy Claris Treadway and father-in-law Nick LaRocco. Visitation will be Monday, April 21, 2014 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill from 2:00 P.M. til service time. Funeral Rites will follow at 3:00 P.M.
