Elizabeth Bernath Luke

Elizabeth Bernath Luke, 88, of Hilltop, WV died on Monday, January 08, 2007 at her home. Born April 15, 1918 at Mount Hope, WV she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Kovac Bernath. Mrs. Luke was a member of the Assemblies of God, Mount Hope, WV and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis L. Luke on Feb 28, 2002, three sisters and five brothers. Survivors include one daughter, Julia Elizabeth Mitchell Perry of Waynesboro, VA; one son, Louis Edward Luke and wife, Ruth of Lexington Park, MD; three sisters, Helen Radford of Beckley, WV, Martha McGosky of Ravenswood, WV and Irene Rader of Baltimore, MD; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Thursday, January 11, 2007, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Services will be on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Carlisle Blomme, Rev. Hilda Carr Perry and Rev. Robert Barley officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV.
