Eleanor M. Noonan

Eleanor Marion Benson Noonan , 92, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, May 21, 2007 at Hilltop Center in Hilltop, WV. Born October 11, 1914 at Dorchester, MA she was the daughter of the late Gustuf O. and Helga O. Lundquist Benson. Eleanor was reared in Dorchester, MA and educated in Boston schools. She worked from 1948-1956 for Jenkins Transportation in Mattapan, MA and for the Center for Naval Analyeis in Alexandria, VA from 1964-1979. In 1979 she moved to Osterville, MA where she worked as a volunteer in the Osterville Free Library. She was an avid bridge player. She married James Patrick Noonan in 1939. He preceded her in death in 1977. Two brothers Ralph and Oscar Benson preceded her in death. Surviving is one daughter, Judith C. Pritt and her husband, Bill of Oak Hill, WV. Burial will be at the Fairfax Memorial Gardens, Fairfax VA.
