Eleanor Horton

Eleanor Alberta Horton, 86, of Deepwater and Montgomery, WV died on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at Hilltop Healthcare Center in Hilltop, WV following a long illness. Born February 06, 1917 at Deepwater, WV she was the daughter of the late Clyde Dixon and Bertha Weber Horton. During her life she was employed first at Elk Furniture Store in Montgomery and then for many years at the State House in Charleston. Ms. Horton was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Weber Huddleston Survivors include Nephews: Gregory Huddleston of Casanova, VA Michael Huddleston of Memphis, TN Memorial services will be on Friday, August 29, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of the Montgomery Presbyterian Church in Montgomery with Rev. Joan Stewart officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia, PO Box 1472, Beckley, WV 25802
