Edward Eugene Manley went home to be with the Lord on November 18, 2016 after a short illness. He passed peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born November 19, 1943 to Samuel Manley Sr. and Macie James Manley. While he never married or had children of his own, hee became an important and loving figure to many. He was referred to by many as simply "Uncle". He will be remembered for his loving and kind spirit, his stubborness, and his mischievous grin. He loved hauling Junk, Towing and tinkering with cars. We find comfort knowing he was reunited with those who left before him. These include his Mother and Father,, his sisters Hazel and Kay Frances, his brothers William Sr., Sanford Sr., Wesley Sr., and and Earl Sr. He is survived by his brothers, Samuel Manley of Beards Fork, WV and Carl Manley of Akron, OH. He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews who thought of him as much more than an uncle. He spent his last few years on this earth with his two beloved German Shepherds, Major and Suzy.
