Edward Lee Lich, age 78, of Collierville, TN formerly of Oak Hill, passed away on November 5, 2017.
Born in Oak Hill on December 26, 1939, he was the son of the son of the late Frank Lich, Sr. and Anna Gogolak Lich.
Edward was a 1958 graduate of Collins High School and alumnus of Marshall University.
He served in the US army from 1963-1965 and married Jane Neudek in 1969. He worked for Dupont and lived in Staunton, Virginia for 34 years. He moved to Collierville TN in 2009.
He is survived by his wife Jane Lich of Collierville, TN; his eldest son Edward Lee Lich and wife Buffy of Washington, NC; son Jason Edward Lich and special friend Kim Jones of Seattle, WA; daughter Emily Jane Farrell and husband Christopher Farrell of Collierville TN; three grandchildren, Catherine Jane Lich, Clarissa Rose Farrell and Annalise Mary Farrell, two step-grandchildren, Montgomery McClure and Samantha McClure. All his grandchildren held a special place in his heart.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with burial of the cremains to follow in High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill. A military graveside service will be conducted.
