Edna Lois Nichols

Edna Lois Elmore Nichols, of Scarbro, WV died on Tuesday, February 01, 2005 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV following a short illness. The daughter of the late Charles Edward and Ethel Julia Craft Elmore, Edna was born in Virginia and was raised in Whipple, WV. Mrs. Nichols was a member of the Scarbro Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Quaintence Nichols; two sons, Larry Noelen Nichols and John Nichols; five brothers, Raymond N. Elmore, Cody O. Elmore, Sr., Everette Elmore, Buck Elmore and Waddell Elmore. Survivors include four grandchildren Kelly Briggs of Sumpter, SC, Patrick Nichols of Atlanta, GA, Shane Nichols of Sumpter, SC and Kathy Nichols of Sumpter, SC; and several great grandchildren. Friends may call from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 5, 2005, at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill. Committal service will follow on Saturday, February 5, 2005, at 1:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Kenny Smith and Bob Creed officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill WV.
